February has been an eventful month for the HSPG as we continue our work in the background and await Heathrow’s refreshed business strategy.

Our first newsletter of the year is out now exploring the biggest stories from 2024 so far.

From uncovering who is behind the post-pandemic aviation revival to understanding the current status of key airport expansion projects across England, we discuss what they mean for air travel demand, decarbonisation and their impact on local communities.

As we approach the festive period we would like to wish you all a very happy holiday season and a happy new year. We have already began planning ahead for 2024 and are looking forward to continuing and growing our work.

Our latest newsletter is out now sharing the top stories in aviation from November✈️!

From transatlantic flights powered solely by Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs) to discussions on improving surface access to airports, we cover the biggest stories in aviation and what they mean for decarbonisation and their impact on local communities.

Looking back on a summer of aviaton.

This summer was busy for aviation with customers returning to popular tourist destinations whilst the industry managed increases in extreme weather events and technical glitches in air traffic control systems.

Whilst the Summer was pretty quiet in terms of meetings of the various working sub-groups of HSPG, HSPG Secretariat having since been picking-up the pace in the background preparing the ground and working on what will be key workplan projects over the Autumn and Winter.
